Dermal fillers in Boston
Restore what time has taken
Facial changes can feel like they happen abruptly — hollows form under the eyes, cheeks lose their lift, smile lines deepen, lips thin. Dermal fillers help restore volume and structure exactly where it's been lost, helping you look like a rested version of yourself, not a different one.
Facial restoration only where it's needed
You know bad filler when you see it. Overfilled cheeks, lips that lose their natural shape, a face that reads as "done" rather than rested. That's not a product problem, it's a philosophy problem: Adding volume without asking where it actually belongs.
Good filler works differently. It restores structure exactly where it's been lost, in proportion to the rest of your face, so nothing looks added. The people around you don't clock a change. They just think you look well, and you're the only one who knows why.
Every visit starts with a consultation and specific product selection— softer fillers for lips and under-eyes, firmer ones for cheeks. So while the product changes, the goal never does: Results only you can feel and see.
Treatment Areas
Under-eye & tear trough
Hollowing under the eyes can make you look tired even when you're not. A conservative layer of filler, placed precisely, softens the transition between the lower lid and cheek without looking puffy.
Cheeks
Cheek filler restores the volume and lift that support the mid-face, often softening the appearance of nasolabial folds and jowls indirectly, without treating them directly.
Nasolabial folds & smile lines
The lines that run from nose to mouth deepen as cheek volume depletes. Conservative filler lightly placed in the folds themselves, or in the cheek to address the root cause, softens these lines without looking overfilled.
Lips
A conservative, natural approach to lip enhancement aimed at restoring shape and hydration without compromising natural movement.
Before & After
Brightening her under eyes
Hollowing under the eyes and a flatter cheek had left this patient hearing the same comment again and again: "You look tired." Using a conservative layer of filler under the eyes paired with subtle cheek support, we softened the transition between lid and cheek and restored a bit of natural lift.
Softened lines & restored support
Deepening nasolabial folds and a flatter mid-face had started to age this patient beyond how she actually felt. Treating the cheeks first to rebuild underlying support, then softening the nasolabial folds directly, restored lift and smoothed the transition from nose to mouth
Reshaping M-shaped lips
A pronounced dip in the upper lip's Cupid's bow gave this patient's smile a sharper, more angular shape than she wanted. Precise filler placement along the border softened the peaks and balanced the curve, for a fuller, more even lip line that still reads as entirely her own.
Lip filler in the mature patient
As lips thin and lose structure with age, vertical lines and dryness often become more noticeable. A conservative layer of filler restored lost volume and softened texture and lines through the upper and lower lip, without changing their natural shape. The result is fuller and smoother, with lips that look rested rather than reshaped.
FAQS
-
Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the layers of our skin. Its properties provide plump, hydration, bounce, and glow. With the natural aging process, our amounts deplete over time, starting in our 20s, creating facial sagging, skin folds, and loss of support.
Fillers are biocompatible gels containing bonded hyaluronic acid chains. When injected into the layers of the face, they reintroduce lost volume, resupport tissue, and enhance definition and contour.
-
Filler adds volume directly and provides an immediate result.
Collagen stimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse work differently— they encourage your body to rebuild its own collagen gradually, over several weeks. Some patients use both, depending on the treatment area and goal.
-
Longevity depends on the product used, the area treated, your metabolism, and how much movement occurs in the area.
Most hyaluronic acid fillers last 12-18 months. Areas with more movement, like the lips, tend to metabolize filler faster, while structural areas like the cheeks maintain results longer.
-
Filler injections can cause discomfort and soreness, so a small amount of injectable numbing is given prior to treatment. Many filler brands also contain lidocaine pre-mixed into the syringe for added comfort.
-
Yes, which makes filler one of the safest and most popular cosmetic treatments out there. Most hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved quickly and effectively using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Dissolving may be a separate visit and cost.
-
A consultation is the best starting point. Most patients benefit from addressing the area causing the most visible fatigue or asymmetry first (often the under-eyes or cheeks) then building a broader plan over time.
See below on how to proceed with a consultation.
